1. About this site
LandHomeTours is an independent discovery project providing a search tool for publicly available video tours of homes and neighborhoods across the United States.
2. Not a real estate broker
We are not a licensed real estate broker, agent, or representative of any home builder, buyer, or seller, and we do not participate in real estate transactions. None of the content on this website constitutes a formal offer, financial advice, or real estate representation. All details (such as pricing, availability, dimensions, and features) are compiled from public video sources and third-party data and may be inaccurate or out of date. Always verify details directly with the listing agent or builder before making any decision.
3. Embedded videos & DMCA takedown
All video tours are embedded directly from YouTube and remain the property of their respective creators. We do not host video files on our servers. We are not affiliated with, and do not endorse, the channels shown.
If you are a content creator, real estate agent, builder, or property owner and wish to have a video or public contact information removed or corrected on this site, please email [email protected] with the URL of the page. We will promptly remove or update the content within 48 hours.
4. Fair Housing & Equal Opportunity
We support the federal Fair Housing Act and applicable state fair housing laws. It is illegal to discriminate in the sale, rental, or financing of housing based on race, color, religion, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), familial status, national origin, or disability. We do not offer filters based on protected characteristics, nor do we steer buyers.
5. Privacy policy
Browsing this site does not require creating an account (see Accounts below), and we do not sell personal information. Videos load via privacy-enhanced YouTube players (youtube-nocookie.com); once you play a video, Google may process data under its own privacy policy. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used; it sets its own cookies and Google processes that data under its privacy policy. Server logs (IP addresses and browser user agents) are kept strictly for security and debugging. Any public contact details extracted from video descriptions can be removed upon request by emailing [email protected].
Recommendations on the home page
To show you tours you have not seen yet, and more of the kind you watch, the site sets one cookie, lht_sid: a random code that names this browser and nothing else. With it we keep which tours were shown to you, which you opened, watched or saved, where you stopped in each video (your Watched page; this browser keeps a copy of that too), which contacts you used, which tours you went on to watch on YouTube from their player, and, for each visit, the first page you opened, the name of the site that sent you here (such as google.com — never the page you were on there, nor what you searched for) and the country you visited from. A tour you only scrolled past is forgotten after 14 days; the rest after 90 days without a visit. We do not keep your IP address, nor where you are within your country: the rough area Cloudflare tells us you are in is used to put nearby tours first and then discarded. None of it is sold or shared. Browsers that send Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track get no cookie and no history on our side; their Watched page lives in the browser only. To delete your history now:
Accounts
You can browse without an account. If you create one — with Google or with a code we email you — we keep your email address, your name and Google account ID if you sign in with Google, when the account was made and last used, and, for each browser you are signed in on, its browser type and when it was last used. We do not keep your Google password or any access to your Google account: signing in with Google only tells us your name, email address and account ID. Signing in sets a cookie that keeps you signed in for 60 days after you last use the site (lht_auth, and lht_in, which only says that you are signed in), and a short-lived one during a Google sign-in. Sign-in emails are sent through our email provider, Brevo. You can sign out of any browser and delete your account at any time from your account page; deleting it removes everything above.
Signed in, what you save and watch belongs to your account rather than one browser: we keep your saved tours (with each one’s status and price when you were last told), and the browsing history described under Recommendations is joined across the browsers you sign in on, so your Watched page and the tours you contacted show on all of them. Signing out keeps them with your account and takes them off that browser. If you save a search, we keep it and email you new tours that match it, daily or weekly; we also email you when a tour you saved goes under contract, sells or changes price, at most once a day. Every such email has a link that stops it in one click, and your account page lists and turns off all of them.
